Sorolla’s centenary is for everyone and we would like all those interested in taking part in this celebration to be able to do so. Regardless of whether you are an institution, a company, a researcher, a museum, an artist or any other person, if you have a project that you think may help to increase knowledge of the life and work of Joaquín Sorolla or introduce him to the general public, please let us know about it! Tax benefits
In Law 22/2021 of 28 December of the General State Budget, the programme “The Centenary of the death of Joaquín Sorolla” was declared an event of exceptional public interest in accordance with the content of article 27 of Law 49/2002 of 23 December covering the fiscal regime of non-profit entities. This is a tax benefits scheme which aims to facilitate the participation of civil society in the celebration of this commemoration. The Manual for Participating Companies includes all the information which may be required by individuals and companies interested in applying the scheme.
Support the Centenary
Another way of supporting the centenary is by becoming a friend of the Fundación Museo Sorolla or by making an individual donation. In both cases your contribution will help fund the production of temporary exhibitions, scholarly publications and the programme of educational activities, among many other initiatives. In addition, both forms of art sponsorship allow for a higher rate of tax deduction. Please see this pdf.
